Issue: Some XML uploaders have been unable to view their Report or their Public View on the Final Review page.  When attempting to view the annual report, the e-GGRT system may display information in a new window in a format that is difficult to read. This page will be updated when the issue has been resolved.

If the type of unit you are reporting is not included in the list of enumerated values, then for data element "UnitType", report value "OCS (Other combustion source)", and then for data element "OtherUnitName", specify the unit type used.

Background:  Reporters indicating the combustion of a “Tier 2 (Equation C-2a)” fuel are required to indicate, on a monthly basis, if substituted values were used in determining the HHV for each fuel. Secondly, they are required to report the frequency of HHV determinations.  However, these two requirements do not apply to reporters that indicate the combustion of municipal solid waste,  “Tier 2 (Equation C-2c)”.
Issue: In e-GGRT, when a reporter selects a fuel that is applicable to Tier 2 (Equation C-2c), the e-GGRT-generated XML file includes values for “Tier2MonthlyHHVDetails” data elements, all with “N” for “IsSubstitutedIndicator”.  It does not include a value for data element “FrequencyofHighHeatValueDetermination”.  (It should not include either data element.)

The calculation spreadsheet for subpart E contains a locked cell that shouldn't be.  Cell C24 refers to the following questions, "Are N2O emissions estimated using an administrator-approved alternate method or one or more adipic acid production units?".  Because the cell is write-protected, users are unable to select an answer (yes or no) from the dropdown.  In addition, there is logic built in to that cell so that when an answer is entered, the cells located directly beneath it are revealed.

The XML schema is inconsistent with e-GGRT regarding ("FeedstockType").  In e-GGRT, a reporter is restricted from selecting more than one type of feedstock (gaseous, liquid or solid) per non-CEMS unit.  The XML schema does not have this restriction for non-CEMS units.  For the same non-CEMS unit, a reporter can indicate that all three types of feedstocks were used for a given month, and then only one or two for a different month.   This issue exists because the data element is placed at wrong location within the schema hierarchy.  It has to be relocated to the same level as the non-CEMS Unit Identification.

Do not report more than one type of feedstock per non-CEMS unit.  This means that the the same value (gaseous, liquid or solid) must be used  for every month reported.

The e-GGRT rollup-emissions calculation should but doesn't include the annual CO2 process emissions from cement manufacturing, calculated from Equation H-1 for all kilns, and rounded to one decimal place.   See rollup requirement #23.

However, when data is entered in e-GGRT for “Annual quantity of carbonate-based raw materials charged across all furnaces” on the “N-Facility” page in tons (meaning short tons), the  e-GGRT generated XML file displays the units as Metric Tons.

If reporting multiple performance tests, report the number of repeated performance test in the first instance and only specify the test method used for the remaining instances.

Data element "CombustionUnitIDDetails" is not captured in e-GGRT.  This information was replaced by the CML configuration ID/name, presumably to promote consistency among the various subparts.  As such, it should be removed.

The "ProductFeedStockDetails" data element contains somewhat redundant child elements: "Name" and "Type".   There are enumerated values for data element "Type" but none for "Name".  In contrast, e-GGRT only references the Name field  and it has all of the same enumerated values defined in the schema for "Type".  However, when e-GGRT generates XML, it populates only the "Name" data element with the selected enumerated value.  This is a data integrity issue and e-GGRT should be changed to reflect the schema in this particular case.

Report the Type as this correctly describes the data captured.

Some of the child data elements of "OtherProductFeedStockDetails" are not grouped in a meaningful way and as a result, and may confuse reporters.  The MRR states the following,  "...if the method used to determine the carbon content or composition is "Industry standard practice for carbon black", then specify the practice." 
In the schema, the data element for "IndustryPracticeDescription" is positioned above the data element "CarbonContentMethod".  For more consistency with the flow of the rule, move data element "IndustryPracticeDescription" immediately below "OtherCarbonContentMethod"

Report the value exactly as defined within the schema and not how it is displayed in e-GGRT.

For example, attribute "massUOM" has the following enumerated values: kgC/gallon, kgC/kg and   decimal fraction, and kg carbon/kg flare gas.  In contrast, attribute "carboncontentUOM" has the following enumerated values: Metric Tons, Short Tons, Kilograms, Pounds, tons and mtons.
The measured value for the first data element must be reported in terms of a decimal fraction; kg carbon/kg flare gas.  Because the corresponding unit of measure attribute (massUOM) is optional, do not report a value for it.
 The measured value for the second data element must be reported in short tons.  However, because the corresponding unit of measure attribute (carboncontentUOM) is required, you must report a value.  Until fixed, report " decimal fraction; kg carbon/kg flare gas".

The spreadsheet does not capture (but should) monthly details of TiO2 produced, the carbon content of pet coke, consumption of pet coke, etc.

Data element  "MaterialName" should be removed from the schema because there is no specific reference in the rule to report that information (only the type). 

When reporting details regarding the input materials charged to the kiln or furnace, do not report the material's name, only the its type.

Ensure that the value reported under NGLSupplied is the same as the one reported under NGLReceived (for the same instance of the parent element, "NGLFuelDetails").

An enumeration list was added for data element "MeasuringEquipmentType".  This is good; however, the list includes a value “Other”, as opposed to “Other (specify), but more importantly, there is no corresponding data element for reporting the other equipment type.  In e-GGRT, if the reporter selects “Other”, a text box displays so the other type can be entered, but there is no place in the schema for the entered value to be captured.

Add a description of the "other" equipment type in the "StandardForCalibration" data element until a new one is added.
