EPA is making new forms and calculation tools for GHG Reporting available to the public so that facilities and suppliers can begin preparing reporting year 2013 (RY2013) reports, due on March 31st, 2014. Reporting forms are MS Excel-based forms which capture specific data required under CFR 40 Part 98 and which users upload as part of their reporting.   Calculation spreadsheets are optional tools that users may use to prepare reported data but are designed to be kept as part of facility record keeping and not submitted. Reporting forms and optional calculation spreadsheets are not used for every source category reporting under the program.

Reporting instructions and reporting forms may be downloaded at: Reporting Form Instructions.

Optional calculation spreadsheets may be downloaded at: Optional Calculation Spreadsheet Instructions.

If you have any questions regarding these tools please contact the GHGRP Help Desk

Beginning at the close of business on February 7, 2014 the electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT) will be unavailable for a period of time. During this period EPA will be conducting maintenance necessary to prepare e-GGRT to accept Reporting Year (RY) 2013 GHG reporting. The EPA estimates that this shutdown period will last one to two weeks after which e-GGRT will accept RY 2013 reporting as well as resubmittal of RY 2010, RY 20111 and RY 2012 GHG reports. Please refer to the GHG Reporting Program home page or e-GGRT Help site at www.ccdsupport.com for further information.

EPA has published an updated XML reporting schema Version v4.1 for RY2013 which allows facilities to upload their greenhouse gas (GHG) data directly in lieu of using the web forms provided through the Electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT). Please note this XML schema Version v4.1 WILL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE until e-GGRT is made available for 2013 reporting in mid-February (currently e-GGRT will only accept 2010, 2011 and 2012 data). XML based reporting submitted after e-GGRT is open for RY2013 reporting must be consistent with schema Version v4.1. Once in effect, this new schema Version v4.1 must also be used for any submissions of previous RY2010, RY2011 or RY2012 reports. The XML reporting schema Version v4.1 and supporting materials are published at XML Reporting Instructions. Additional materials (i.e. subpart specific reporting instructions) will be added when they are ready.
