Subpart II - Biogas Recovery & Monitoring

Please see Reporting Form Instructions instructions on downloading the blank reporting form and uploading the completed reporting form.

Complete one table for each anaerobic process unit identified on tab 1 (Introduction) that have biogas recovered. Scroll down for additional tables as needed.

  1. Select the unique identifier for each process with biogas recovery from the drop-down list. The next column will then automatically fill with the corresponding anaerobic process from tab 1. Introduction.
  2. Use the drop-down menu to indicate whether you conduct weekly monitoring of the CH4 concentration in the biogas collected for destruction in the anaerobic process.
  3. Select a week from the list (1 through 52), for each week the process was operated (please do not skip any rows).
  4. For continuous monitoring, enter the weekly volumetric biogas flow for each week that biogas is collected for destruction.
  5. Indicate if a missing data procedure was used to determine the volumetric biogas flow for each week that biogas was collected for destruction.
  6. For continuous monitoring, enter the weekly average CH4 concentration for each week that biogas is collected for destruction.
  7. Indicate if a missing data procedure was used to determine the weekly average CH4 concentration for each week that biogas was collected for destruction.
  8. Indicate if biogas temperature is incorporated into monitoring equipment internal calculations.
  9. If you have indicated that biogas temperature is not incorporated into the monitoring equipment, provide the weekly average biogas temperature for each week at which flow is measured for biogas collected for destruction.
  10. Indicate if biogas pressure is incorporated into monitoring equipment internal calculations.
  11. If you have indicated that biogas pressure is not incorporated into the monitoring equipment, provide the weekly average biogas pressure for each week at which flow is measured for biogas collected for destruction.
  12. Indicate if biogas moisture content is incorporated into monitoring equipment internal calculations.
  13. In the next column, if moisture content is not incorporated into the monitoring equipment internal calculations and if the weekly average moisture content of biogas flow and CH4 concentration are not measured on the same basis (i.e. if one is measured on a wet basis and the other is measured on a dry basis), select “Yes”. If moisture content is incorporated select “No”. If moisture content is not incorporated, but both biogas flow and CH4 concentration are measured on the same basis (i.e., both wet or both dry), select “No”.
  14. If you have selected “Yes” in the previous column, (i.e., moisture content is not incorporated into the monitoring equipment internal calculations and biogas flow and CH4 concentration are not measured on the same basis) provide the weekly average moisture content of the biogas flow for each week at which flow is measured for biogas collected for destruction.
