Q757. I registered my facility in eGGRT but was never subject to Part 98. How can I stop getting email communications from EPA about the GHG Reporting Program.

A757: Please review the applicability requirements of the GHG Reporting Program carefully at 40 CFR Part 98.2. If your facility or supplier has an e-GGRT account but you determine that it was never subject to the GHG Reporting Program, you can (but are not required to) notify EPA of this status. Go to the Facility Overview page for the most recent reporting year, select the “not subject” radio button, and click SAVE. You can select this radio button even if you have submitted an annual report in a prior year, as long as the report submitted confirms that you were not subject to the GHG Reporting Program. This "not subject" radio button will become the default status for this facility or supplier in future reporting years until and unless a designated representative logs in to eGGRT to change it. Once you have selected the "not subject" radio button, you will be marked in our database to be excluded from future correspondence regarding this facility or supplier.

E-GGRT does not allow a reporter to select the “not subject” button in the same year for which she or he already submitted a report. If you would like to do this, please contact the Help Desk for further assistance. If you were subject to the GHG Reporting Program in a prior year, you are not eligible to select the “not subject” radio button and should not do so.
