| Optional Calculation Spreadsheets | Subpart C Optional Calculation Spreadsheets contain old GWP values Issue: Several Subpart C Optional Calculation Spreadsheets contain hard-coded GWP values for CH4 and N2O, and will not estimate RY2024 CO2 equivalent emissions correctly. The spreadsheets are found at https://ccdsupport.com/confluence/display/help/Optional+Calculation+Spreadsheet+Instructions. The Agency updated GWPs this year and in particular the RY2024 GWP for Methane is 28 and the RY2024 GWP for Nitrous Oxide is 265. While e-GGRT takes these new GWPs into consideration, users with their own calculation spreadsheets and XML reporters must incorporate revised GWP depending on the reporting year being submitted. | Trend Report | RY2020 and RY2021 "Adjusted" CO2 equivalent values may be incorrect for Suppliers reporting under Subparts LL-QQ Issue: The "By CO2e" trend report calculates adjusted CO2 equivalent values by applying the new RY2024 GWP values (4/25/24 final rule) to prior year emissions values. These adjusted values are shown on the bottom half or the report in the "ADJUSTED" section of the report, which follows the "AS SUBMITTED" section of the report. RY2021 Adjusted values for "CO2e from products supplied (LL-QQ)" are incorrectly shown on the "CO2 sequestered (RR)" row, and RY2020 Adjusted values for "CO2e from products supplied (LL-QQ)" are not correctly included in the report. The RY2020 column incorrectly includes the RY2021 value for "for "CO2e from products supplied (LL-QQ)". Workaround: None. This issue will be addressed in a future e-GGRT maintenance release. | Subpart O | Validation message 0-088 is incorrectly flagged Issue: Subpart O users will receive validation message O-088 which states "The annual HFC-23 emission for reporting year 2024 is NNN metric tons. This value is significantly different from the 2023 annual HFC-23 emissions of YYY metric tons" Workaround: You may ignore this message. Reference: #468 |
