Q543. This question relates to subpart W, Acid Gas Removal Vents, using Calculation Methodology 3 (98.233.d). In 98.233.d.8 are we allowed to assume that volume fraction of CO2 content in natural gas out of the AGR unit is zero? This will result in a conservative estimate of AGR vent emissions.

A543. No. §98.233(d)(8) does not instruct reporters to assume a volumetric fraction of zero for Vol0 . Reporters must use one of the methodsologies specifiedprescribed in §98.233(d)(8) to determine the CO2 contentcomposition of the natural gas exiting the AGR unit (Vol0 ).
