The text below describes how to add electricity, thermal energy, and natural gas purchase/acquisition data. The process to edit an existing entry is essentially similar.

Electricity and Thermal Energy Purchases/Acquisitions (95104(d))

Section 95104(d) requires operators to "include in the emissions data report information about the facility’s energy acquisitions and energy provided or sold". For the purposes of reporting using Cal e-GGRT, reporters must supply information on the purchase/acquisition of electricity and thermal energy.

To add an electricity purchase/acquisition,

• Click on ADD ELECTRICITY PURCHASE/ACQUISITION, and enter the following information:
  • Electricity provider's name
  • Electricity provider's ARB ID (if applicable)
  • MWh of electricity purchased/acquired
  • Click SAVE
• Repeat these steps for all electricity providers.

To add an thermal energy purchase/acquisition:

• Click on ADD THERMAL ENERGY PURCHASE/ACQUISITION, and enter the following information:
  • Thermal energy provider's name
  • Thermal energy provider's ARB ID (if applicable)
  • MMBtu of thermal energy purchased/acquired
  • Click SAVE
• Repeat these steps for all thermal energy providers

Natural Gas Purchases/Acquisitions (95155(k))

Section 95155(k) requires operators who report emissions from the combustion of natural gas to provide certain information on each provider. For each provider, enter the followign information:

To add a natural gas purchase/acquisition:

• Click on ADD NATURAL GAS PURCHASE/ACQUISITION, and enter the following information:
  • Natural gas provider's name
  • Natural gas provider's ARB ID (if applicable)
  • MMBtu of natural gas purchased/acquired
  • Click SAVE
