Q317. Are inputs to emission equations whose reporting deadline was deferred until 2013 being collected in e-GGRT?

A317. Yes. Beginning in 2013, EPA will begin collecting the equation inputs for which the reporting deadline was deferred until March 31, 2013 (see Table A-6 found at: http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?c=ecfr&tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title40/40cfr98_main_02.tpl).

Inputs to equations whose reporting was deferred until 2013 must be reported to EPA by April 1, 2013 for reporting years 2010, 2011, and 2012 as applicable. (Because March 31, 2013 falls on a weekend, the deadline is moved to the next business day which is April 1, 2013.) In general, Part 98 reporting for some subparts was required to start in 2010 and in 2011 for others. The table below shows the reporting years for which the 2013 inputs will be required to be reported by April 1, 2013.

EPA is still in the process of evaluating the inputs to emissions equations whose reporting deadline was deferred until 2015, following the process outlined in the final deferral.  EPA plans to issue a rulemaking related to the inputs whose reporting deadline was deferred until 2015.

For more information about the reporting of emission equation inputs that are no longer deferred and that must be reported by April 1, 2013 as well as the requirements for resubmitting Reporting Years 2010 and 2011 reports that must now include certain previously deferred equation inputs, please refer to the Inputs Whose Reporting Deadline Was Deferred Until 2013 factsheet.
