Known Technical Issues Regarding FLIGHT
Subject Area | Description
|
---|---|
Web Browser Compatibility | Issue: Users with Internet Explorer 8 or below experience sluggish webpage loading and may receive a script error upon entering the FLIGHT site that states: "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?".

Issue Pasting FLIGHT URL into Email or Document | Issue: In Firefox, the URL displayed in the browser’s address bar does not replace spaces with the URL-encoded characters “%20”. Meaning, the URL can include spaces. If a user were to copy the URL and paste it into an email or other document, the text would be recognized as a URL and converted to a link. If the URL was copied from Firefox, the link in the email might be cut off at the first space and not include the entire URL. So, if a recipient of the email clicked the link, they would not be taken to the correct page. Workaround: There are a number of options to get around this issue if you want to paste the URL into an email or document.
