A255. The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple text-based format for representing structured information that is widely used for transferring data.  e-GGRT accepts XML-based submissions as an alternative to manual data entry using webforms. For more information about XML, visit the World Wide Web Consortium at http://www.w3c.org.  For more information regarding the format for XML-based GHG reporting please refer to http://www.ccdsupport.com/confluence/display/help/XML+Reporting+Instructions.
