Q303. Have any of the equations under the GHG reporting rule been revised, or have any new equations been added since the rule was finalized in 2009?

A303. Yes. On October 28, 2010, December 17, 2010, and November 29, 2011, EPA published final rules that contained technical corrections, clarifications, and other amendments to various subparts under 40 CFR part 98, including revisions to equations for calculating GHG emissions. More information about these amendments is available at http://www.epa.gov/ghgreporting/reporters/notices/corrections.html. For any further revisions to equations in the rule for the current reporting year or future years, please continue to monitor the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program website for information on rule revisions under the Rulemaking Notices section http://www.epa.gov/ghgreporting/reporters/notices/index.html.

Also, the current version of 40 CFR part 98 is available on-line at http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=ecfr&sid=9415fad5f1c7ea4d940d308e1ea74e11&tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title40/40cfr98_main_02.tpl.
