Q424. Why can't I view data from direct emitters and suppliers together?

A424. Data from direct emitters and suppliers cannot be viewed together because it would cause double counting of emissions in many sectors. In general, it is more accurate to look at upstream (aka supplier) data separately from downstream (aka direct emitter data). For example, each of these types of data provide important but different information about GHG information across the country.
