Q108. If an MSW landfill is later remediated as a hazardous waste landfill, does it need to comply with the rule?
A108. Only RCRA Title C or TSCA hazardous waste landfills are exempt. MSW landfills that were later remediated are not exempt. Even after remediation, these landfills are still expected to have potentially significant CH4 emissions and are therefore required to report.| Wiki Markup |
