The comment period for the RY2020 Subpart W Preview Materials is now closed.

EPA provided draft versions of the Reporting Year 2020 (RY2020) Subpart W Reporting Form, Optional Calculation Workbook, and XML schema to the public and sought is seeking comments and suggestions regarding these draft materials. Please reporting tool.

Summary of Changes

Optional Calculation Workbook revisions are limited to changes to improve usability. There are no changes from the previous year to the Subpart W Reporting Form or Subpart W schema for RY2020.

XML Reporting

The draft Subpart W RY2020 XML Reporting schema (version 11.0) posted below allows XML reporters an opportunity to prepare for the RY2020 reporting requirements.  The draft Subpart W XML reporting schema (version 11.0) only includes those data elements applicable to RY2020 reporting. EPA has limited this file to just those data elements applicable to RY2020 to clarify requirements and to assist facilities in preparing their RY2020 reports.  To see the full XML schema for all subparts, all reporting years, and a change log comparing RY2020 to RY2019, please see the Draft Reporting Year 2020 XML Schema.

Allowable enumerations for RY2020 reporting are also provided in a separate file.

Please note that note that the preview versions of the reporting form , optional calculation workbook, and schema are subject to review and correction and may change prior to final release.  The comment period closed on November 8, 2020.  EPA is currently evaluating the comments that were received and will release final versions of the reporting materials following review of all the comments.

EPA encourages the community to provide any substantive comments as soon as possible and no later than November 9, 2020.
