This page provides step-by-step instruction for comparing GHG emissions from metals manufacturers.

Step 1. Go to the Data Publishing Tool

Step 2. Under "Sector" uncheck all but Metals. This will give you the total number of emitters in the U.S., the list of Facilities and total emissions in metric tons CO2e

Step 3. Click on the Pie Graph to view total emitters in the U.S., the map shows the locations of facilities

Step 4. Click on the blue icon (facility building). This shows the location of the facility, latitude/longitude, NAICS code, total facility emissions, and emissions by gas and source.

Step 5. Click on the blue numbered icon. This shows number of facilities in the area.

Step 6. View the list of facility locations and states under "Facility Name/Location"

The Pie Graph shows the percentage for the following:
Aluminum Production, Ferroalloy Production, Iron & Steel Production, Lead Production, Zinc Production and Other Metals.
