A318. EPA has finalized a rule deferring In August 2011, EPA deferred the reporting deadline for inputs to emission equations (76 FR 53057, August 25, 2011, available at http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2011-08-25/pdf/2011-21727.pdf#page=1 (PDF) (15 pp, 235K, About PDF)); both equations until either March 31, 2013 or March 31, 2015 to allow time to fully evaluate the potential impact from the release of this data. The inputs to equations whose reporting deadline was deferred until 2013 are listed in Table A-6 of subpart A of the GHG reporting rule. The inputs to equations whose reporting deadline was deferred until 2015 are listed in Table A-7 of subpart A. Both e-GGRT and the XML reporting instructions schema reflect this final rule (i.e., they do not currently collect inputs to emission equations).and include the data elements that are no longer deferred. Calculation inputs that are deferred or are not collected per the final rule should not be included.
For more information about the reporting of emission equation inputs that are no longer deferred for reporting and that must be reported by April 1, 2013 as well as the requirements for resubmitting Reporting Years 2010 and 2011 reports that must now include certain previously deferred equation inputs, please refer to the Inputs Whose Reporting Deadline Was Deferred Until 2013 factsheet.
