Q57. Does this rule negate the need for the Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks in the future?

 

A57. No. The data collected under this rule will not replace the system in place to produce the comprehensive annual national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory. However, it may serve as a useful tool to improve the accuracy of future national-level inventories.
