Q698. How do I determine the quantity of hydrogen produced?

A698. The reported quantity of hydrogen produced should be the amount of pure diatomic hydrogen determined to be produced by the unit from the transformation of one or more feedstocks. In the case of a hydrogen production process unit located at a refinery, this should not include hydrogen produced in the refinery, including, for example (1) refinery-produced hydrogen fed into the fuel gas system and/or (2) refinery-produced hydrogen purified in a PSA unit that is co-mingled with the hydrogen produced in the hydrogen production process unit. The reported hydrogen production should be only the amount of hydrogen produced from all feedstocks listed in the Fuels and Feedstocks section of e-GGRT for the hydrogen production process unit.
