ARB is providing calculation spreadsheets that reporters can use to perform the calculations called for in the emission equations. The spreadsheets are meant to support reporters as they complete the Cal e-GGRT online reporting process and to facilitate the collection of data required under the GHG Reporting Program that are not otherwise collected in the Cal e-GGRT web forms. Calculation Spreadsheets do not apply to all subparts (see table below).

Calculation Spreadsheets are Excel-based and can be downloaded and opened on your own computer. Just click the hyperlink on the web-form to view and download the appropriate calculation spreadsheet for the equation you are working on. You can enter the data , including equation inputs, necessary to perform the calculation for the equation, and the spreadsheets will calculate the result for you. Once you have calculated the result, enter the result onto the Cal e-GGRT web form and upload the completed spreadsheet using the upload interface within the web form. All calculation spreadsheets must be submitted to ARB by uploading completed spreadsheets in either XLS or XML format depending on the subpart.

All of the subpart P and most of the subpart Y Calculation Spreadsheets are required to be uploaded in XML format. These calculation spreadsheets include the capability to export XML from the completed spreadsheet. Each spreadsheet includes instructions for how to export XML. The XML schemas that correspond to the calculation spreadsheets for this subpart are below. The XML files uploaded into Cal e-GGRT must comply with these schemas. If the XML is exported from the spreadsheets, then it will automatically comply with the schema. If you generate the XML manually, the please make sure it complies with the schema.
