Known Technical Issues Regarding the Reporting Year 2010 Data and the Data Publication ToolFLIGHT || Subject Area || {center}Description{center} || | *Web Browser Compatibility* | *Issue:* Users with Internet Explorer 8 or below experience sluggish webpage loading and may receive a script error upon entering the Data Publication ToolFLIGHT site that states: _"A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"_. \\ \\ *Workaround:* If you receive the script error message, click "Yes" and proceed with one of the three workaround options listed below to resolve this issue: * *Option 1.* [Download and install Google Chrome Frame plug-in|http://www.google.com/chromeframe/eula.html?quickenable=true] * *Option 2.* [Update Internet Explorer to version 9 or higher|http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-9/worldwide-languages] * *Option 3.* Use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox | | *Tool Visualizations (i.e. Bar, Chart, Pie Chart, and data tree)* | *Issue:* When switching views between the bar chart, pie chart, or data tree at the subsector-level, the data displayed will change from subsector to the sector-level. For example, if you are viewing a pie chart for the aluminum subsector and then switch to a data tree, the aluminum subsector filter is lost and you will see a data tree for the entire metal sector. This may also cause the breadcrumbs to indicate the wrong aggregation level. \\ \\ *Workaround:* Select to view the data by bar chart, pie chart or data tree before applying a subsector filters and avoid switching visualization types once subsector filters are applied. To change visualization type, reset/remove all filters, select new visualization type, and then reapply desired filters. | [#Back to Top] |
