Q812. My facility is using MSHA data to report ventilation air methane (VAM) emissions. I am having difficulty interpreting the MSHA report. Is any guidance available on how to correctly interpret MSHA data to report VAM to the GHGRP? |
A812. Yes. Please see the EPA document entitled “Technical Guidance on Using Mine Ventilation Data from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) to report Quarterly Methane Emissions from Mine Ventilation Systems.” This document is available on the subpart FF reporting resources page, at bottom of page under “implementation information”: http://www.epa.gov/ghgreporting/reporters/subpart/ff.html.
