This page provides an overview of the Subpart W onshore petroleum and natural gas production and natural gas distribution combustion emissions source category reporting requirements.

The onshore petroleum and natural gas production and natural gas distribution combustion emissions source category is applicable to Onshore Petroleum and Natural Gas Production and Natural Gas Distribution.

Onshore Petroleum and Natural Gas Production and Natural Gas Distribution Combustion Emissions: Deferred Reporting Requirements

A facility with one or more external fuel combustion units with a heat capacity greater than 5 mmBtu/hr is required to report:

  • Each type of fuel combusted (98.236(c)(19)(iv))
    • Pipeline gas
    • Field gas
    • Distillate Fuel Oil No. 2
    • Motor gasoline
    • Propane
    • Agricultural Byproducts
    • Anthracite
    • Asphalt and Road Oil
    • Aviation Gasoline
    • Biodiesel (100%)
    • Biomass fuels—gaseous
    • Biomass Fuels—Liquid
    • Biomass fuels—solid
    • Bituminous
    • Blast Furnace Gas
    • Butane
    • Butylene
    • Coal Coke
    • Coke Oven Gas
    • Crude Oil
    • Distillate Fuel Oil No. 1
    • Distillate Fuel Oil No. 4
    • Ethane
    • Ethanol
    • Ethylene
    • Fuel Gas
    • Heavy Gas Oils
    • Isobutane
    • Isobutylene
    • Kerosene
    • Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel
